Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actress from America. She is known for her roles in film and television since the late 1980s she has received various accolades like two Golden Globe Awards and sixteen NAACP Image Awards in addition to nominations for two Academy Awards and seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett was raised at Winston-Salem North Carolina, raised by an Aunt who lived in New York New York. Bassett's mother had split from her father when she was about five. Bassett and her younger sister then relocated to St. Petersburg Florida with their mother. Bassett was at the age of high school when she watched James Earl Jones staring John Steinbeck play Of Mice and Men and was aware that her goal of being an actor had been born. Yale University New Haven Connecticut awarded her a bachelor's degree (1980) which was in African American study, and a graduate degree (1983) in the Yale School of Drama. At Yale she met Courtney B. Vance a actress who was a friend of hers. They got married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. The Yale School of Drama granted a Master of Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Bassett in 1980. The school she attended was the following schools: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for seventh graders, Azalea Middle School for 8th and 9th grades as well as Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett has been cast as one of the main roles of Ramonda in the action-adventure film, i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
